Daniel F. O’Neill, MD, MBA, AAHIVS

Daniel F. O’Neill, MD, MBA, AAHIVS, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Internist in the field of Medicine and acknowledgment of his role as a General Internal Medicine Physician at One Medical.

Located in the Pearl District office, board-certified Dr. O’Neil has devoted the past four years serving patients at One Medical. At One Medical, healthcare is inclusive, comprehensive, and available to all. Through a unique collaborative approach, Dr. O’Neill demonstrates an innate ability to connect with his patients to achieve mutual learning and growth, as well as optimal health. Combined with his vast knowledge and experience in internal medicine, Dr. O’Neill’s areas of expertise include HIV management, LGBTQ+ care, transgender hormone management, and addiction medicine. Additionally, as a certified HIV therapist, he has extensive experience in viral hepatitis and the treatment therapy for opiate abuse such as Buprenorphine.

An academic scholar, Dr. O’Neill completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University. Following this, he earned his Medical Degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine in 2013. Thereafter, he went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at both the George Washington University Hospital and Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle. Following a residency in 2016, he went on to practice for several years as a primary care physician and clinical lead at Neighborhood Health Center, a federally qualified community health center, serving several locations in the Portland area. He also obtained his Master of Business Administration Degree in biotechnology enterprise from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.

Remaining abreast of the latest industry developments, Dr. O’Neill has maintained active memberships and affiliations with several professional organizations. He is an active member of the American Academy of HIV medicine, American College of Physicians, and the World Professional Organization of Transgender Health. Additionally, he is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

In recognition of his academic and professional successes, Dr. O’Neill is a recipient of the National Health Service Core Scholar and Point Foundation Scholar awards.

In his free time, Dr. O’Neill enjoys running, cycling, and playing the piano.
