Bi Ade Awosika, MD, FACP,FHM, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of medicine as a Hospitalist with University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
With and Ungergraduate degree from Stanford University, Dr.Bi Ade Awosika moved on to University of Illinois to obtain her Medical Degree. Following medical school, she moved on to Boston University to complete her residency training followed by Chief residency. With her knowledge, she became a Chief of residency at Boston University where her professional career lead to earning the title of Hospitalist.
A Hospitalist is a dedicated in-patient physician who works exclusively in a hospital. Being a specialty of the branch of internal or family medicine, hospitalist mainly only care for patients admitted to the medical facility. Board certified through the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Awosika serves as an Associate Program Director of the Internal Medicine Residency Program in the Department of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center as well as maintaining positions as an Attending Physician, an Academic Hospitalist and as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine. With her expertise she has been able to share her breadth of knowledge as Chair of the Resident Clinical Competency Committee, Conference Chair of the Annual General Internal Medicine Updates Conference in her region. Dr. Awosika also acts as a faculty judge for the annual resident and student clinical research poster presentations in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the UC College of Medicine.
Dr. Awosika stays up to date with advancements in medicine and with quality patient care by her relationships with the American College of Physicians Society, and the American Alliance of Internal Medicine.
She is not the only doctor in her family, inspired by Dr. Michael Ade, Dr. Catherine Ade to enter the medical field.
