C. Robert Valeri, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine as a Pathologist at his Private Practice.
Offering pathology services at the 372 Ocean Avenue on Castle Rock Peninsula, Dr. Valeri has earned a laudable reputation as one of the top pathologists in Essex County. He is active in medical care and research, specializing in the preservation of platelets and red blood cells.
A Harvard Medical School graduate, Dr. Valeri was trained in peripheral blood. He joined the Navy, having later conducted significant research on saving extremities from amputation by preserving platelets and oxygenating red blood cells.
In light of a lifetime of accomplishments, Dr. Valeri attributes his success to having been endowed with good genes. He has been a source of inspiration to others in his field. Interestingly, he had a horse named after him that competed in the Kentucky Derby.
Dr. Valeri dedicates this recognition in loving memory of the brighter guy he has ever known, Richard Goodwin, and to his amazing collaborator, Gina R. Giorgio.
