In preparation for his career, Dr. Marxen earned an undergraduate degree at Ohio State University, a master’s degree in dentistry at the University of Washington, and a dental degree at Western Reserve University.

In his spare time, Dr. Marxen likes to travel, play the trumpet, and spend time with family.
