Born and raised in Abindon, Dr. Moore descends from a family background of excellent dentistry; his grandfather and father were dentists. Dr. Moore joined the family practice in 1985 after he returned from serving in the U.S. Army Dental Corps in Germany. Since, he has continued working in Abindon, amassing 38 years of experience as a dentist.

Dr. Moore prepared for his career by earning a Bachelor of Science at James Madison University. He went on to receive a Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in Richmond.

A frontrunner in his field, Dr. Moore remains abreast of the latest developments through his affiliations with prominent organizations. A Master of the Academy of General Dentistry, he is a member of the American Dental Association, Virginia Dental Association, Southwest Virginia Dental Association, Christian Dental Society, Christian Dental Association, and ICOI Membership.

When Dr. Moore is not practicing dentistry, he enjoys skiing and spending time with his wife Laura, children Anna, Grace, Katherine, and French Moore, IV, and eight grandchildren.
