Theresa Rose Tack

Theresa Rose Tack, R.N., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a 2017 Legacy Member in the field of Nursing. Tack is a retired Registered Nurse, who previously served at Wasatch County Hospital for 12 years and brought over 38 years of field experience to her profession. She considers herself a Women’s Health nurse. Over the course of her career, she worked in hospitals in Oklahoma, Texas, Minnesota, California and Utah in several areas of nursing, including the facet of cardiovascular medicine. Some former places of employment included Wasatch County Hospital, St. John’s Hospital, Methodist Hospital, and Hillcrest Medical Center. Prior to beginning work in the field, she earned her Nursing Diploma from Central Maine General Hospital in 1961. In recognition of her accomplishments, Tack is the recipient of the following honors and awards: Inductee, Worldwide Lifetime Achievement (2016); Featured Member, Who’s Who of American Women – Marquis Who’s Who (1995-1996,2000-2003, 2005- 2007, 2008-2009); Featured Member, Who’s Who in the World – Marquis Who’s Who (2000-2001, 2003-2004, 2005-2006); Featured Member, Who’s Who in the West – Marquis Who’s Who (1993-1995); Featured Member, Who’s Who in the South and Southwest – Marquis Who’s Who (1998-2000); Featured Member, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare – Marquis Who’s Who (1998-2003, 2009-2012); Featured Member, Who’s Who in American Nursing – Marquis Who’s Who (1991-1994); Featured Member, Who’s Who in America – Marquis Who’s Who (1997- 2015, 2016-2017); Featured Member, Who’s Who Among Human Services Professionals – Marquis Who’s Who (1991-1993). Tack is Certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation by the American Heart Association. Aside from her nursing accomplishments, she volunteers her time to St. Monica’s Episcopal Church, Habitat For Humanity and the Tumaini Fund. She also enjoys reading, knitting and crafts.
