They provide a wide range of services such as outpatient consultation and treatments for unstable patients, specializing in critical care, pulmonology, and nephrology. Dr. Zawada renders care for patients in the intensive care unit and patients with kidney illnesses.

Backed by over forty years of experience, Dr. Zawada is a top doctor in Shasta County. He has amassed extensive experience serving as the director of dialysis units, intensive care units, intensive care telemedicine programs, and transplant programs. His areas of expertise include nephrology syndrome, chronic renal disease, critical care, telemedicine, and geriatrics.

To prepare for his career, Dr. Zawada earned an undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Loyola University of Chicago. He went on to attend the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, receiving a medical degree, summa cum laude. He trained as an internal medicine resident at UCLA Hospital and Clinics, training as a nephrology fellow at UCLA Hospital and Clinics and an intensive care fellow at the University of Iowa School of Medicine. He has attained board certifications in numerous fields, including nephrology, geriatrics, and critical care.

Remaining abreast of the latest developments, Dr. Zawada serves as a master of the American College of Physicians, American College of Geriatric Specialties, American College of Ethical Physician, and American Board of Diabetes.

In his spare time, Dr. Zawada enjoys writing, golf, tennis, skiing, and learning different languages.
