Ecaterina Monica Moisa, MD, FACOG

Ecaterina Monica Moisa, MD, FACOG, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist.

Leading an impressive career for over seven years, Dr. Moisa is one of the best OB/GYNs in New York City. Her areas of expertise include obstetrics, gynecology, preventative medicine, and menopause. A polyglot, she offers services in English, Romanian, Spanish, and conversational French.

In recognition of academic accomplishments, Dr. Moisa earned a medical degree from the University of Medicine Carol Davila in Bucharest, Romania. She completed an OB/GYN residency in Bucharest, relocating to the U.S. and completing another OB/GYN residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center and affiliated Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She was honored as resident of the year in December of 2009 and chief resident in June of 2011. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG).

To remain abreast of the latest developments in her field, Dr. Moisa is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and a member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopist (AAGL).

A noted humanitarian, she donates to menopause and women’s health foundations.

As a testament to her success, Dr. Moisa received the Moreau Award for her surgical excellence.

When she is not working, Dr. Moisa enjoys reading, playing tennis, and spending time with her husband and two children.
