Amit Waghray, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine as an Internal Medicine Physician at Dignity Health.
Devoted to excellent patient care, Dignity Health has been offering compassionate, affordable health care since 1986. The group is composed of more than sixty thousand caregivers and staff across twenty-one states, headquartered in San Francisco. Their facilities offer a wide array of specialties, including primary care and emergency care.
Offering expert hospital medicine services, Dr. Waghray serves at 250 E. Dunlap Avenue, accepting new patients and Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. Backed by fourteen years of experience, he is one of the best internal medicine physicians in north central Arizona. He has experience performing a variety of procedures, including screenings, stress tests, immunizations, incisions, foreign object removals, and more. He has treated numerous conditions such as abnormal thyroid, acidosis, acute deep vein thrombosis (DVT), ADHD, food poisoning, asthma, blood disorders, kidney disorders, and many more.
Enthused by puzzles, Dr. Waghray became a doctor because he enjoys the versatility and complexity of a hospital setting. He would like to give new medical professionals the same advice his father gave to him, “Enjoy it because for most of your life you are going to be doing it.” The key to his success is being available and working a lot.
To prepare for his career, Dr. Waghray attended the Medical University of Silesia in Poland, earning a Doctorate of Medicine (MD). He completed an internal medicine internship at the Fairview Health System and an internal medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. He is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), licensed to practice in Arizona, Colorado, and Florida.
Dr. Waghray dedicates this recognition to his dad Satesh Waghray, who is his mentor and role model. His father is a family practitioner who is still active in the medical profession.
