Dr. Robert H. Ossoff, DMD, MD

Dr. Robert H. Ossoff DMD, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional for his work in the field of medicine as an Otolaryngologist at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Currently retired from his position at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Dr. Ossoff has accrued over 30 years of experience in the medical field. From the start of his career as a dentist, he has provided expert patient care and otolaryngology services for his patients. Dr. Ossoff prides himself on his expertise in the anatomy of the head and neck. He attributes his success to never being satisfied with the status quo and his belief in “fateful opportunism”.

Prior to pursuing a career in the medical field, Dr. Ossoff attended Tufts University where he earned both his MD and DMD.

To further his professional development throughout his career, Dr. Ossoff was also affiliated with the American Board of Otolaryngology, American Bronco Association and the American Society of Laser Medicine Surgery.

In honor of his outstanding contributions to his field, Dr. Ossoff has also been honored by the Fellow of American College of Surgeons and has been published over 150 times.

In his free time, Dr. Ossoff enjoys photography, people watching, hockey (his favorite team is the Nashville Predators), boating, and reading fiction books by John Grisham.

Dr. Ossoff would like to dedicate this esteemed recognition to his family, his wife Lynn and children, his son Jacob and daughter Leslin. He thanks them for their encouragement and support throughout his career and the 24/7 sacrifices he made. He would also like to dedicate his recognition to the loving memory of his parents Michael and Eve Ossoff.
