Dr. Jeffrey D. Cooper, MD

Dr. Jeffrey D. Cooper, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of medicine for his role as a Pediatrician at Cooper Pediatrics.

At Cooper Pediatrics, their friendly and competent staff and specialists strive to provide comprehensive care for patients with growing families. They also offer an array of services for pediatric care ranging from immunizations, sight and hearing screening, sick visits, minor injury treatment and consultations for the Duluth and surrounding communities.

Dr. Cooper has over 31 years of experience in the medical profession, opening his private practice in 1992 and serving here for the last 27 years. Inspired by his mother who was a nurse, he fell in love with pediatrics during his rotation in dental school. He believes that you have to love the job; he attributes his success to his love for it, and his love for helping kids.

Prior to embarking his career as a pediatrician, Dr. Cooper received his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine and is certified by the APB and is a fellow of the AAP.

Along with an illustrious career, Dr. Cooper has also been recognized and awarded a “Patient’s Choice Award” in 2008 by Vitals, the Nicholas E. Davies Award for Excellence in Primary Care by HIMSS in 2004 and the Emory University School of Medicine Excellence in Pediatric Teaching Award in 2017.

When Dr. Cooper isn’t practicing medicine he is the first tenor with his community church, the John’s Creek Coralle. He also enjoys reading about business, psychology, and sci-fi novels.
