David H. Drachler, MD

An expert in the pulmonology industry, Dr. David Drachler works at the leading hospital in robotic surgeries that has extensive cardiology services, including 3D heart mapping. The hospital is an Accredited Chest Pain Center, verified Level 1 Trauma Center, and a Primary Stroke Center. Practicing medicine for thirty-four years, Dr. Drachler is exceptionally knowledgeable, having extensive experience treating emphysema, pulmonary disease, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

In recognition of educational endeavors, Dr. Drachler graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School, earning a Doctorate of Medicine. Following this, he completed an internship and residency at the Reese Hospital University of Michigan.

Having established himself as a prominent professional in the industry, Dr. Drachler is affiliated as a Fellow of the American College of Physician and the American College of Chest Physicians. 

As an accomplished pulmonologist, Dr. David Drachler was a battalion solider for the United States’ Army where he treated soldiers who had substance abuse addiction. He has a history of advocating against drug use, publishing an article endorsing a ban on drugs.

Dr. Drachler advises physicians that, “Technology has changed everything,” and to “try to continue to have a personal approach with the patients like I do.”

Recognizing those who have helped him succeed, Dr. Drachler dedicates this recognition to his mentor Richard A. Green, MD, who inspired Dr. Drachler during medical school.
