Arturo Prada, MD

Arturo Prada, MD, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Pinnacle Doctor for his work as a Nephrologist with Beaumont Health.

Beaumont Health, founded in 2014, is a not-for-profit general healthcare system comprising of three hospitals, catering to the population of Michigan. They prioritize the patient and encourage a family-oriented environment for their patient’s comfort and wellbeing.

Dr. Prada has been working in his field for almost four decades. As a Nephrologist, he deals primarily with disease, illnesses or treatments central to the kidneys. Poor kidney health can result in kidney stones, hypertension, kidney disease or failure. Dr. Prada’s education in Internal Medicine aids in diagnosing and treating illness surrounding the kidneys as well.

Graduating medical school in 1970, Dr. Prada earned a Doctorate of Medicine degree from the National University of Colombia. He completed an internship in Internal Medicine from St. John’s Hospital and Medical Center in 1973. Two years later, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine as well from Grace Hospital. Finally, in 1977, he completed a fellowship program in Nephrology with the Wayne State University School of Medicine. Dr. Prada received his board certification to practice medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. 

Dr. Prada is currently a member of the American Society of Nephrology, the American Medical Association, and the American College of Physicians. He is affiliated with Beaumont Hospital, Troy Medical Group, William Beaumont Hospital – Royal Oak, and Crittenton Hospital Medical Center.

When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Prada enjoys spending his time with his family as well as traveling.
