With over 10 years of experience in the medical field, Dr. Sims prides himself in mentoring new dentists and medical professionals from every specialty offering his assistance to anyone in need. As to Dr. Sims’s key to success, he states, “I have always had the strong conviction in my heart.”

Specializing in cosmetic and general dentistry and Oral/ Maxillofacial surgery, Dr. Sims “was always interested in dentistry since childhood, even though I was not from a wealthy family.” Dr. Sims’s advice to those new to the field is to “Establish a mentoring relationship close by.” 

Throughout his education and training, Dr. Sims earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Westchester Medical Center located in Valhalla New York, Completed an internship in oral & maxillofacial surgery at Detroit Medical Center (2004-2005), and finished a residency at New York Medical College (2005-2009).

To further his professional development, Dr. Sims is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Assistants Association, and the Omega Psi Phi (an international fraternity).

Outside of work, Dr. Sims enjoys weightlifting, athletics, ping pong and shooting pool.
