Mustafa S. Huseini, MD

Mustafa S. Huseini, MD is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine as a Gastroenterologist at Henry Ford Hospital (Macomb & Wyandotte). A not-for-profit organization, Henry Ford Hospital boasts over a century of medical success in their Macomb and Wyandotte facilities especially.  

A physician since 1997, Dr. Huseini specializes in Gastroenterology and Bariatric medicine.  

Throughout his education and training, Dr. Huseini graduated from Al-Ameen Medical College (India) in 1997. He went on to complete his Residency (general surgery, internal medicine, and chief resident) and Internship at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in General Surgery in 2002, and later in Internal Medicine in 2006. Following this, Dr. Huseini completed his Fellowships in Bariatric Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in 2017, the Geisinger Health System in Gastroenterology in 2016, and at the Geisinger Health System in Nutrition in 2011.  

To further his professional development, Dr. Huseini is a Former AMA at the American College of Physicians; He is also a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Obesity Society, and the American Obesity Association.  

Dr. Huseini dedicates this recognition to his father, Syed Maqdoon Mohiuddin, MBBS and his wife, Azra Ahmed and three daughters. He dedicates this recognition also to Michael Komar, MD; Christopher Thompson, MD, and David Diehl, MD.
