Claudia Gabriela Gidea, MD, FACC is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever in the field of Medicine as a Cardiologist at NYU Langone Hospitals.
With over 20 years of experience in medicine, Dr. Gidea specializes in heart transplant medicine and cardiac imagery.
Throughout her education and training, Dr. Gidea received her Doctor of Medicine degree at the Carol Davila University in Bucharest, Romania where she graduated 1st in her class. Following this, Dr. Gidea completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Michael Reese Hospital and completed a Fellowship of Cardiovascular Disease at the University of Wisconsin.
Dr. Gidea is certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine (Advanced Heart Failure & Transplant Cardio) in 2012, the American Board of Internal Medicine (Cardiovascular Disease) in 2003, and the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2000.
To further her professional development, Dr. Gidea is a member of the International Society of Heart and Lung Transplantation, the American College of Cardiology, and the American Society of Echocardiography.
