Dr. Thompson specializes in psychiatric services including the treatment of depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and mood disorders.

Dr. Thompson manages patients with acute and chronic mental illness in both adult and child/adolescent populations. Her services include assessment, diagnosis, treatment, medication management, recommendations on diet change, supplements, herbs, and

various forms of psychotherapy or talk therapy. Certified by the Telebehavioral Health Institute to deliver medical services through secure platforms, Dr. Thompson sees clients via e-Visits, which means she can service any resident living in the State of Michigan.

Dr. Thompson is a firm believer of caring for the entire person. “As nurses, we practice holistically, meaning not only do we consider the physical and psychological health but also the family and social aspects of life which impact the wellbeing of a person.” The Key to her success is “Faith - Knowing I am helping people be the best version of themselves.”

Throughout her education and training, Dr. Thompson received her training at The University of Michigan, including a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for which she is board certified.

In recognition of her professional accomplishments, Dr. Thompson was awarded Top Doctor of Nursing Practice by the International Nurses Association, and she was featured in the 2018 edition of Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare.
