Neeta Somaiah, MD is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as Pinnacle Professional of the Year in the field of Medicine in recognition of her role as Doctor at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Providing over seventy five years of exceptional service to the Houston, Texas residents, MD Anderson Cancer Center was ranked number one in the United States in the development of Cancer Care. Assistant Professor of the Department of Sarcoma Medical Oncology, Division of Cancer Medicine, Dr. Neeta Somaiah has established herself as a prominent professional in the field. Throughout her career, Dr. Somaiah has attained extensive expertise in the medical industry for over nine years. Having served in her current capacity at MD Anderson Cancer Center for the past six years, Dr. Somaiah has had experience in treating Sarcoma.
In an effort to further enhance her professional development, Dr. Somaiah is an esteemed member of several organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology, early in her career, Dr. Somaiah attended Maulana Azad Medical College and Delhi University, in New Delhi, where she attained her Medical Doctor Degree.
Charitable to various organizations, Dr. Somaiah is an avid member of Dabbss Temple, the American Association for Cancer Research, and in her spare time, coaches her daughter in school sports.
When not working, Dr. Somaiah enjoys spending time outdoors.
Married with children, Dr. Somaiah dedicates this recognition in loving memory to her father, Kannanda P. Somaiah, for all his love and support.
