Suzan N. Hendry is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional Member in the Pet Care field. Hendry’s professional title is Vice President and Co-Owner at Pet Care Center, which specializes in veterinary care, including low-cost pet vaccinations at local pet stores across Central Florida. She has worked in her current role for the past 21 years, and brings over 25 years of total career experience to her role. “We provide a variety of vaccine packages for dogs and cats, and also offer heartworm and feline leukemia testing,” the center’s website states. “We have a caring and friendly staff and only contract Florida licensed veterinarians to administer our services.” In addition to vaccinations and pet medicine, Pet Care Center offers a number of additional services to its clients, including: cat vaccination guides, dog vaccination guides and hospital referral guides. The center also offers tapeworm injections and diagnostic testing for a number of conditions related to heartworm. Hendry’s skills and areas of expertise include the following: office management, operations, business management, sales management, marketing strategy, account management, customer service, team building, social networking, strategic planning, public speaking, negotiation, business planning, direct sales and budgets. Prior to establishing Pet Care Center with Ross A. Hendry, D.V.M., Hendry worked in a variety of business and office management positions, including: Tax examiner at the Internal Revenue Service, Office Manager and Assistant Managing Director at Scott Plastics Company, Office Manager at First Commercial Marketing Group and Information Centers Manager at Salt Lake Convention Bureau. Hendry earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Psychology with a Focus on Human Development, graduating with honors, from Eckerd College. She also attended Weber State University, and speaks some Spanish in addition to English. To further her professional development, Hendry is a former member of Toastmasters International, and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. When not working, Hendry volunteers at the local YMCA and has served on its board of directors. She also enjoys reading, horseback riding, skiing, boating and gardening.
