Rebecca J. Peters

Rebecca J. Peters, RN, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional Member in the field of Healthcare. Peters has wanted to be a nurse since the 6th grade, when she was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease, and is currently a Registered Nurse at Kindred at Home in Geneva, Alabama where she works as a home health nurse. Peters is also working part time for Geneva County, Alabama school system as a school nurse. With over 13 years of experience as a Nurse, Peters’ professional areas of expertise are clinical nursing, acute care, pediatrics, early mother-infant nursing, and transitional care. After earning her Associate’s of Science degree in Nursing from Cox College of Nursing and Health Science, Peters went on to earn her BSN at the University of Phoenix. She is also a licensed Ultrasound technician and High Risk Obstetrician. When not working, Peters enjoys spending time with her family. Her advice to others in her field is to start with positions that don’t require too much experience, and, “work your way up the ladder,” and claims the key to her success is support from her family. She dedicates this recognition to her husband, Leonard Peters, who is retired from the U.S. Army.
