William Oppenheim, M.D., is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of his contributions to the Medical field. Dr. Oppenheim serves as an Orthopedic Surgeon at Specialty Orthopedics, LLC, as well as at RWJ Barnabas Health. He “provides surgical and non-surgical solutions for a wide range of conditions and injuries, from sprains and fractures and dislocations, to arthritis and neck, back and joint pain,” as stated in an interview by the Top Doctor Award Committee. “He is also renowned as an expert in the treatment of sports injuries.” Additionally, “Dr. Oppenheim is known for his caring and compassionate approach to medicine,” as well as his extensive focus on patients. “I was inspired to go into medicine because my father didn’t let me become a carpenter,” Dr. Oppenheim said. “The key to my success is that I have always worked and deeply cared about my patients and I still, to this day, see patients until 10 o’clock at night.” Dr. Oppenheim earned his Medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. He then went on to complete both his internship and residency at New York City’s Bellevue Medical Center. Later, he completed plastic surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, a fellowship at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and a second AO fellowship in Bern, Switzerland. Additionally, Dr. Oppenheim is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. To further his professional development, Dr. Oppenheim is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery. He has also been honored as a recipient of the 2017 Top Doctor Award.
