Dr. Shaparak Mojtabai

Shaparak Mojtabai is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognitions of her contributions to the Medical field. Dr. Mojtabai serves as a Physician at Summit Medical Group, an all-service medical group providing expert, caring, compassionate geriatric medical services to its patients. It offers the finest comprehensive health and medical services for you and your entire family in a comfortable, safe, convenient, and friendly environment.” Prior to joining the Summit Medical Group, Dr. Mojtabi practiced at Bronx Internal Medicine Associates and the Bronx Park Medical Pavilion, and served as an Attending Physician at Saint Barnabas Hospital and Saint Barnabas and Continuing Care Center, all located in Bronx, New York. “I went into geriatric medicine to give patients care throughout their lives,” Dr. Mojtabai said. “I see patients, and my own mother, getting older, and I want them to leave this world with dignity. I listen to patients discuss their ‘end of life wishes’ early on. I enjoy building close professional relationships with my patients and their families. Mutual trust and confidence are, in my opinion, essential to effectively managing chronic conditions and promoting healing.” Dr. Mojtabai earned her Medical degree from the National University of Iran Medical School. She then went on to complete her Residency in Internal Medicine at Saint Barnabas Hospital. To further her professional development, Dr. Mojtabai is a member of the American Geriatric Society. When not working, Dr. Mojtabai enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and spending time with family.
