Araceli Ruiz is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Government in recognition of her role as Supervisory Board Assistant at Riverside First District. Home to nearly 450,000 residents, the Riverside First District caters to the cities of Wildomar, Lake Elsinore, Canyon Lake and Riverside. Additionally, the district also extends to cover the unincorporated communities of DeLuz, Gavilan Hills, Good Hope, Lake Hills, Lake Mathews, LaCresta, Mead Valley, Meadowbrook, Spring Hills, Temescal Valley, Tenaja, Warm Springs, and Woodcrest. In conjunction with the advisors of the Riverside First District, the government agency works together to assist the citizens of the community. With their support, Riverside lends a hand to the citizens of their district by creating a portal that allows them to fully access the wide variety of programs and services that are available to them. In expanding the economy, the district hopes to utilize, “health and recreation strategies to make the county a healthier place for residents.” As California’s fourth largest county, the district hopes to attract tourists by making it a welcoming, inviting, family environment, thus creating a “great place to live, work, and visit.” Amassing over sixteen years of experience in her current role, Araceli has served as Board Assistant with Riverside First District for the past two years. Throughout the course of her career, Araceli has specialized in several facets of the government agency including, Environmental and Women’s Issues, Policy Analysis, Organizational Management, Project Management. As the community liaison for the City of Riverside, Ruiz is responsible for, “bilingual translations, Environmental and Women’s’ issues as well as Vector Control.” To further her professional development, Ruiz is an affiliate of several organizations including the National Association of Professional Women; Riverside Latino Network; Commission for Women; Environmental Education Collaborative; Christmas Cheer All Year; Riverside Transportation NOW and National Who’s Who. Throughout the course of her educational career, Araceli attained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California Baptist University in 2015. An Environmental Leadership Academy graduate in 2016, Ruiz graduated from California State University San Marcos at Temecula. When she is not working, Ruiz enjoys sports, camping, hiking and dancing. In addition, she also enjoys spending quality time with her family and vacationing in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
