Nick Silverio

Nick Silverio, Founder, is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Achiever for his accomplishments as the Founder of Safe Haven for Newborns.

Safe Haven for Newborns is a Maimi based foundation dedicated to reaching pregnant women and mothers before they reach the crisis stage. The program is a last resort to help mothers, who might otherwise feel overwhelmed with thoughts on how to handle the next chapter of ther lives bringing life into this world. They have a hotline for mothers and pregnant women/girls in crisis. All calls remain confidential and they never pass judgment. The staff at Safe Haven for New borns stands with compassion to help young women and mothers during trying time as apposed to a tragic alternative.

With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Silverio has led an impressive career in the non-profit sector. After he lost his wife Gloria of 31 years in a car accident, he sought a way to continue her memory and spirit through forms of charity. Throughout Gloria’s life, she had focused on and continually helped children and the elderly. After Mr. Silverio read about Florida’s Safe Haven Law, he knew what his new life purpose would be; helping save little lives.

Outside of Mr. Silverio’s professional life, he enjoys playing golf, going to galas, and hosting run/walk fundraisers. To learn more, please visit www.asafehavenfornewborns.com.
