Ms. Kelly earned a Bachelor of Arts in 1965 at The College of New Rochelle. She went on to pursue a legal education, earning a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law in 1971. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1972 and is a member of the New York State Permanent Judicial Commission on Justice for Children, New York Association of Collaborative Professionals, International Academy of Collaborative Professions, Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York and the Westchester County Bar Association. An exemplary leader in her field, Ms. Kelly has served as President of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York and as President of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association. She was appointed Chair of the Grievance Committee for the Ninth Judicial District of the State of New York and served as Co-Chair of the WBASNY Matrimonial Committee. Notably, Ms. Kelly worked with Ruther Bader Ginsburg on her 1971 Supreme Court case Reed v. Reed and has been honored as a contributor in Jane Sherron DeHart’s Ruther Bader Ginsburg: A Life, published in 2018.
