Dennis L. Richard

Dennis L. Richard is being recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Top Attorney in the field of Law as a Personal Injury/Employment Discrimination attorney.

In his early career, Mr. Richard was an F.B.I. Special Agent, transitioned to become an Assistant District Attorney of Beaumont, and then became the Assistant District Attorney in Houston.

Mr. Richard graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Tulane University in 1973 and Cum Laude from the University of Houston Law School in 1976. He is board certified in Civil Trial Law and Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, and is licensed to practice law in New Mexico and Texas.

His experience as a college athlete at Tulane University taught him the meaning of being prepared to fight for his clients. His time as a Special Agent for the FBI gave him an advantage over his opponents. Mr. Richard gained vulnerable trial experience as an assistant district attorney in Beaumont and Houston, where he prosecuted 80 criminal jury trials to verdict.

He can anticipate what his opponents will do and take steps to counter their moves. He’s been active in law for over 40 years.

Mr. Richard holds the rank of Advocate in the American Board of Trial Advocates. In 2012, and was honored by selection in the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 Trial Lawyers in Texas. He was also licensed as a member of the State Bar of Texas in 1976 and New Mexico in 1986. Mr. Richard is a member of the Bar Association of El Paso and San Antonio.
