Marie A. Hassel

Marie A. Hassel is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Real Estate as a result of her role as President with Sterling Development Company. In her current position with Sterling Development Company, Marie specializes in industrial, residential and commercial real estate, where her main expertise lies within negotiations, finance, tax, accounting, human resources, and more.

Marie has more than 26 years of experience in real estate, and is a certified paralegal which she received from Duke University, a certified broker in charge designation through the North Carolina and South Carolina Real Estate Commission, and is a certified notary public through the State of North Carolina. Marie has been recognized as Professional of the Year for 2011 from Worldwide Who’s Who, and has also been interviewed for the Elite Radio Network in 2012. In addition, she is involved with associations such as Toastmasters, Dove's Nest, Charlotte Rescue Mission, Christ Episcopal Church, and Delta Zeta. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and going to the beach.  Throughout her educational career, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from East Carolina University.
