Gonzalo Rios is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of  Mining as a result of his role as Vice President of  Corporate Responsibility with Aura Minerals, Inc. Aura Minerals Inc. is focused on the acquisition, exploration, development and operation of gold and base metal projects in the Americas.

The Company’s portfolio includes the San Andres Gold Mine in Honduras, the Sao Francisco and Sao Vicente gold mines in Brazil, the copper-gold-silver Aranzazu Project in Mexico, and the feasibility-stage copper-gold-iron ore Serrote da Laje Project in Brazil. Throughout his career, Gonzalo has worked at operations and projects in South and Central America, he possess over 18 years of experience in the extractive industry, which includes a very unique and broad range of roles and responsibilities as an environmental engineer and executive level CSR professional. He has direct experience in working in Latin American countries as well as remote management.
