Diana M. Dahl

Diana M. Dahl is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Education as a result of her role as Director of Business Development with ASPIRA, Inc. of Pennsylvania. The ASPIRA Association promotes the empowerment of the Puerto Rican and Latino community by developing and nurturing the leadership, intellectual, and cultural potential of its youth. Their mission is to aid the Puerto Rican and Latino community through advocacy and the education and leadership development of its youth.

They currently have 8 state affiliates and 1 in Puerto Rico. ASPIRA, Inc. of Pennsylvania currently manages a network of 7 entities that serve over 4,000 at-risk youth PreK-12th grade. As Director of Business Development, Diana specializes in grant writing, program development, strategic planning, marketing, organizational development, supervisory skills, capacity building, leadership development, quality assurance, and more. Diana is currently a Founding Board Member of Edugroup of PA, a non-profit association. In addition, Diana created Dahl Enterprises LLC in March 2013. Dahl Enterprises specializes in consulting, writing, and designing. She started the business due to her experiences with consistently being asked for advice about education, help with new start-up business, assistance with grant writing, requests to spruce up resumes, interest in her paintings, help with room décor, etc. She was formerly the Director of Youth Development at ASPIRA, Inc. of PA (2009-2011), a Freelance Writer with Demand Media Studios (2011), a Youth Development Manager at Congreso de Latinos Unidos (2009), and the Director of Operations at Learning By Grace, Inc. (2004-2008). Diana says her biggest professional mentor and influence is Alfredo Calderon, CEO of ASPIRA, Inc. of PA.

In her spare time, she enjoys painting, ceramics, soccer, fitness, education, writing and more. Throughout her educational career, she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, with a minor in History from Penn State University. In 2004, she became certified in the state of Pennsylvania as a Teacher in Secondary Social Studies. She has engaged in significant professional development experiences, including a year-long fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania through the National Writing Project and a mentorship program through the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
