Kimberly A. O’Roark is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Healthcare. Kimberly is the Owner and Director of Recreation Through The Ages. Recreation Through The Ages is a health and wellness company that provides education, training, programming and activities to facilities and families dealing with Alzheimer's and other types of dementias. They specialize in behaviors and will come to your community or home to provide help in these areas.
As Owner and Director, Kimberly specializes in healthcare, elder care, therapeutic recreation, community outreach, social services, staff development, and more. She instructs seminars and implements therapeutic programs for facilities and families that are dealing with Alzheimer's and dementia. Additionally, Kimberly provides therapy for school age children who are in special education and treatment facilities, and she has been a volunteer with the Alzheimer's Association on a steady basis since 2006. Furthermore, Kimberly is a certified Dementia Practitioner and Instructor, is a former board member of NMACC (New Mexico Association for Continuity of Care), and is a member of the National Association of Professional Women, NCCDP (National Council for Certified Dementia Practitioners),
NCTRC (National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification) and American Therapeutic Recreation Association). Due to her ongoing successes, Kimberly was awarded with the honor of VIP Woman of The Year 2013 from NAPW, and in her spare time enjoys spending time with family, camping, walking, and photography. Throughout the course of her education, Kimberly earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Recreational Therapy from The University of New Mexico.
