Rose M. Rivera, CMA, C.Ph. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Healthcare. Rose is an Adjunct Faculty Member with Lorain County Community College, as well as a Medical Assistant with Erie Coast Chest Physicians.
In her current positions, Rose works closely in the areas of Medical Assistance; Coding; Checking Vital Signs; Conducting Blood Tests; as well as Preparing Medical Histories. In addition, she works with students in the medical laboratory and assists them in learning the basics of Medical Assistance.
Rose earned an Associate of Science in Medical Assisting, with a concentration in Clinical Studies in 2007, as well as an Associate of Science in Medical Assisting, with a concentration in Administrative Studies, in 2006. Additionally, she earned an Associate of Arts in Business in 1981 and is a Certified Medical Assistant and a Certified Phlebotomist.
Rose attributes much of her success to her mother, Betty Milam (September 26, 1928- December 9, 2011). She was a loving, supportive, dedicated mother of three and always encouraged Rose to pursue her interests. Looking ahead, Rose aspires to become a full-time faculty instructor in Pharmacology, Medical Coding and Medical Assisting.
