Throughout her career, she has worked in both acute and ambulatory settings in military and civilian environments. After spending years working in the system trying to create positive change and seeing the complexity of care increase, Susan became a nurse because she cares deeply about the wellbeing of others. Through exploring other venues in the nursing profession, Susan decided that she could make a great difference for others by heading into her current specialty and getting out of the hospital setting. Throughout her educational career, Susan earned a Master's of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Phoenix, and also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the Cooperative Education Baccalaureate Program at Northeastern University.
