Raymond R. Quintin, CPA

Raymond R. Quintin, CPA is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle  Professional as a result  of his 25 years of  excellence in the field of Accounting. Raymond is the Director of Accounting and Auditing with Cherry Bekaert & Holland. As a Certified Public Accountant with over 25 years of  experience, Raymond is a great asset to Cherry Bekaert & Holland. In his current role as Director  of Accounting and Auditing, he is responsible for overseeing the technical and quality control of the Firm’s assurance services practice.  In addition, Raymond has served as an instructor for various general audit courses and has also participated in a working group of several other large regional firms dealing with various compliance and reporting issues.  Prior to becoming the Firm’s Director of Accounting and Auditing, he served as a Partner in the Charlotte practice with experience providing audit and specialized consulting services to SEC entities, employee benefit  plans, healthcare institutions and utilities and also

 

served as the Director of the Firm’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Group.  Prior to joining Cherry Bekaert & Holland, Ray spent 12 years with a Big Four firm where he served as  engagement manager and engagement partner on  a number of SEC, employee benefit, healthcare and utility clients. He also spent two years as a controller for a dyestuff manufacturer, where he was responsible for overseeing all financial areas of the Company including benefit plan administration. As a result, Raymond brings a unique blend of audit and practical experience to clients in several different industries.  Raymond is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA).  Raymond earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree at the University of Notre Dame in 1981 and his Masters of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance at the William E. Simon School of Business (Rochester, NY) in 1984.
