Certified Nurse Midwife, Palo Alto Medical Foundation
Carla Reeves, MSN, CNM, CLNC is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Healthcare professionals. Carla is a Certified Nurse Midwife with the Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Carla’s expertise lies in the areas of women’s health care, family, and mid-wife health care services. In addition, Carla is a Certified Nurse Consultant and also holds an Advance Practice Certification. She is a member of The American College of Nursing Midwives, as well as the Association of Women’s OB-GYNS. Carla is a fundamental part of the Palo Alto Medical Foundation Team. Her many responsibilities include the provision of prenatal and postpartum care to obstetrical patients in a multi-service group. In addition, she routinely performs physical assessment for obstetric and gynecologic patients for annual exams, family planning needs, and acute minor gynecologic complaints. Carla also administers individual counseling, referrals, and education for women. Furthermore, Carla contributed greatly to her field of endeavor through drafting the telephone triage protocols for PAMF. Additionally, Carla enjoys sharing her professional knowledge with the medical field. She has given various presentations on topics including, Physiology of Labor — Diagnosis and Management, Infections in Pregnancy, Pregnancy Induced Hypertension, Diabetes in Pregnancy, Intrauterine Growth Retardation, Antepartal Care — Assessment for Risk, and OB Emergencies.
Carla received her Masters of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Kentucky.
