Hon. James E. Story

Hon. James E. Story is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Leading Lawyer as a result of 55 Years of Excellence in the Legal Profession.  James is an Attorney with his own firm, Story Law Firm.

James established his Law Office in 1957 and has worked as an Attorney ever since. As a result of five decades within the field of law, James has developed extensive experience as both a prosecutor and defense lawyer. His main focus is in the prosecution and defense of sex crimes, where he continues to follow his personal quest to always demonstrate and require hard evidence in any case because of abuses and the passion involved where there are real cases.  Old cases are easy to bring and hard to defend, so wrote one U.S. Supreme Court Justice, because the witnesses have matured and may have ulterior motives as in the book Crucible.

Prior to starting his practice, James served in the United States Army during WWII as a Medical and Surgical Technician where he also was a member of the Boxing and Basketball Teams. In his time away from practicing law, James enjoys

Coaching Boxing and other sports. This is a hobby that is very close to his heart as he was on the military boxing team and coached boxing at Murray State during his educational career.
