A NYS Licensed Real Estate Broker with a notary license, Cangiano served as the Staten Island Board of REALTORS President in 2013. Currently, Cangiano holds a position as the Chairperson for the New York State Association of Realtors Grievance Committee for 2017. In an effort to further enhance her professional development, Cangiano is an esteemed member of several organizations including the Staten Island Board of Realtors, The New York State Association of Realtors, The National Association of Realtors, BIANYC, and Builders Industry Association of NYC.

Cangiano currently co-hosts on a Real Estate Radio station on WOR a few times a month with Victoria Rivadineria.

Charitable to various organizations, Cangiano has partnered with two Staten Islanders where she held a fundraiser to purchase a custom van for a family with two severely handicapped children. In addition, she has supported the 2016 Miss Staten Island Cassie Paradise, Turkey Basket Drive for Staten Island Family Services and Toys for Tots. Cangiano has supported many other organizations and non-profits which includes Juvenile Diabetes, Sunrise Camps, Ronald Mc Donald House, St. Joseph By the Sea Track Team, Rolling Thunder, Inc., SI Letter Carriers, Grace Foundation, Travis 4th of July Celebration, and more. Cangiano and her children are big supporters of the American Cancer Society.

In recognition of her professional accolades, Cangiano was awarded Realtor of the Year 2009 by the Staten Island Board of Realtors. In addition, Cangiano Estates was rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau.

When she is not working, Cangiano enjoys spending time with her family and her dog, Luigi.
