Throughout the course of her education and training, Lorenzo attained her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Barry University, in Miami, Florida. Later, Lorenzo attained her Master of Science degree in Forensic Science from Florida International University. Thereafter, Lorenzo attained her Juris Doctor degree from her alma mater FIU.

To further her professional development, Lorenzo is an affiliate of several organizations including the Florida Bar, and American Immigration Law Association. An avid member of her local community, Lorenzo currently serves on two AILA committees and is Board Member of the FIU College of Law Alumni. President of her BNI networking group, Lorenzo teaches twice a week as Adjunct Professor of Law at Florida International University, College of Law.

In recognition of her professional accolades, Lorenzo was recently awarded the 2016 Super Lawyers Raising Star Award and the 2016 Top 100 Lawyers by National Advocacy. Editor-in-Chief of the FIU Law Review, Lorenzo was the recipient received the Publication and Excellence Award in 2005 for her services. In addition, Lorenzo made the Dean’s List for her excellent scholarship throughout her years in law school and received top distinction in several of her classes.
