Sworn in as Judge of the Superior Court of the Macon Judicial Circuit in January 1996, Judge Brown served for eighteen years of which the last two years were spent serving as Chief Judge. Throughout the course of his education and training, Judge Brown graduated from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University in 1967. To further his professional development, Judge Brown is an affiliate of several organizations including the Georgia Bar Association. An active member of the local chapter of Boy Scouts, Judge Brown has taught several classes for Judges of the Superior Courts and has been an active participant in the humanities studies offered by the Georgia Counsel of Superior Court Judges.
