Julia Figueroa is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Government field in recognition of her role as Manager of Flight Services at Puerto Rico Air National Guard. With three prominent bases located throughout the island, Puerto Rico Air National Guard is experienced in offering professional training to servicemen in the event of a crisis. Established in an effort to, “protect the people and property of Puerto Rico,” the National Guard offers various missions to its servicemen including flying, ground support, and intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance, special operations and unique missions. Protecting their homeland at the forefront of their values, in conjunction with the federal government, the National Guard’s mission is to, “support federal efforts” in avoiding potential crisis. Puerto Rico National Guard’s Muniz Air Base focuses on providing, “global air transportation of equipment and supplies during times of war.” The Punta Borinquen Radar Site specializes in assisting ground commanders in, “planning, requesting, coordinating and controlling close air operations, intelligence gathering and airlift.” Committed to serving their community, the members of the National Guard unite together for a purpose greater than themselves all while making a difference. Throughout the course of her education and training, Figueroa attained her Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix. In her previous years, she attained her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico. To further her professional development, Figueroa is an affiliate of several organizations including the National Association of Professional Women and the Lean In Circle.
