Loriann Schlafer is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the field of Military Services. The U.S. Army Reserves, a key component of the U.S. Armed Forces, is made up of the best-trained, most dedicated, most respected Soldiers in the world- protecting America’s freedoms at home and abroad, securing our homeland, and defending democracy on a global platform. With a combat ready and capable reserve, the U.S. Army Reserve’s mission is to generate soldiers, “TRAINED, EQUIPPED, and LETHAL to win our Nation’s wars.” Amassing over thirty years of military experience in the field, Schlafer is a seasoned Command Sergeant Major with expert knowledge in all facets of military service. In her current position, she provides senior advisement to the commander and also utilizes her healthcare expertise while working as a combat medic. In her current capacity, Schlafer is a Command Sergeant Major, Combat Medic, Paramedic, and Production Trainer with the US Army Reserves, Miniature Precision Components. Throughout the course of her education and training, Schlafer attended Webb High School in Reedsburg, Wisconsin. Thereafter, Schlafer went onto further her studies to become an Emergency Medical Technician at Southwest Wisconsin Technical College. More recently, she pursued Paramedic and Emergency Medicine studies through the University of Wisconsin’s’ Emergency Programs. A Nationally Registered Paramedic, Certified Nurse’s Assistant and Certified Emergency Medical Technician, Schlafer’s advice to those entering the military is “you’ve got to have your own adventures.” When asked about her successes, Schlafer states “I don’t know everything and I am always picking up information.” To further her professional development, Schlafer is an affiliate of several organizations including the National Association of Professional Women and Wisconsin EMS Association. Charitable towards numerous organizations, Schlafer is an active volunteer of the American Heart Association and American Legion.
