Joyce May Brown, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a 1 Year Pinnacle Professional Member in the field of Education in recognition of her role as Founder of the Ryan Ali Brown Foundation. The Ryan Ali Brown Foundation was established by Joyce May Brown in memory of her son Ryan Ali Brown who was killed saving the life of a friend. The mission of the organization is to educate young youths on violence prevention. Amassing over twenty three years of experience in the field, Joyce May Brown has spent two years in her current role as Founder of the Ryan Ali Brown Foundation. Aspiring to address the issues of violence on a global scale in the near future, Brown is specialized in the areas of education and keeping her faith and the memory of her son alive by educating against violence. Quoting Romans 8:28 from the Bible which reads, “And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them,” Brown holds fast to her faith. Throughout the course of her education and training, Brown earned her Master of Arts degree in teaching from Coppin State University. In her previous years, Brown attained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Catholic University. Brown is currently pursuing her D. Div at Christian Leadership University. Certified in Secondary Social Studies, to further her professional development, Brown is an affiliate of several organizations including the National Education Association. In addition, she is affiliated with several churches including the Jericho Church. When she is not working, Brown enjoys going to church and being active in ministry. Brown is Dedicating this recognition to her son, Ryan Ali Brown who was killed saving the life of a friend. Also in dedication to her parents, Mercea May and John Brown Sr., as well as Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. who inspired her to become the person she is today.
