Robert G. Holt is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in the Legal field. Holt serves as a founding partner in the law firm of Holt Ney Zatcoff & Wasserman LLP, where he specializes in commercial real estate law. He brings over 50 years of experience to this role, as well as expertise in business entities. “The lawyers of Holt Ney Zatcoff & Wasserman, LLP are known for an aggressive, can-do, client-oriented attitude coupled with pragmatic advice and counseling,” the firm’s website states. “Each lawyer in the firm is readily accessible to the firm’s clients and is vitally concerned about our clients’ welfare. The firm’s offices are centrally located in the Atlanta Galleria complex, affording convenient access to all business centers in Atlanta.” With regard to his personal areas of focus, “I have substantial experience in the development of office and industrial projects, shopping centers, master planned subdivisions, condominium developments, hotels and resorts, multi-family residential rental projects and recreational communities,” Holt said. “I routinely structure and negotiate private equity investments, joint venture and partnership arrangements for real estate projects, revolving credit lines and loan transactions.” Holt cites several inspirations for his decision to enter the legal field, and for the path his career has taken. “I went into the legal profession because I love communicating, and I am very interested in the English language,” Holt said. “I left trial practice because it was ‘too slow.’ I find commercial real estate fast-paced and satisfying - a win-win for both parties.” Holt earned his Juris Doctor from Yale Law School in 1964. Prior to starting his legal education, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce at the University of Pennsylvania in 1961. While studying for his undergraduate degree, Holt was a member of the Friars Senior Society, Delta Tau Delta, Mask & Wig, and the Penn Pipers and served as President of the University Glee Club. Holt is a member of the State Bar of Georgia. He cites the key to his success as being “interested in people” and working with real estate people who are “positive and productive.” His advice to those looking to the field is that “you’ve got to love the work!” When not working, Holt enjoys golf, travel across the globe, reading – particularly the Robert B. Parker series of mysteries, and history, philosophy and psychology books in the non-fiction category. Holt dedicates this recognition to Daniel B. Hodgson, his mentor.
