Truax later went onto receive her J.D. (Cum Laude) from Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University in 1993 and was then admitted into practice later on that year in the state of Connecticut. In addition, she has published several works and is the Editor in Chief and author of 3 chapters of the LexisNexis publication “Connecticut Family Law”, originally published in 2013 and updated annually.
