J. David Black is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as an Attorney of The Year as a result of over 40 Years of Excellence in the Legal Profession. Black is currently a Partner at the Law Firm, Harrison & Johnston, PLC. Harrison & Johnston was established in 1961, and currently operates out of the Commonwealth of Virginia, serving in all facets of court systems, from local to federal. Prior to being a Partner at his current firm, Black was an Attorney with his own firm, the Law Office of J. David Black, where he strived to assure that he was knowledgeable in all aspects of business litigation and worked hard to ensure that his clients receive the best legal services possible. Throughout the course of his educational career, Black earned his JD from Stanford University and also holds an MBA in Economics. Furthermore, he received an Undergraduate Degree from Princeton University. To further his professional development, Black is an affiliate of the California Bar Association and the American Bar Association. In 1988, Black received his Juris Doctor degree from George Mason University School of Law. Prior to that, he attended James Madison University, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts (BA), English and Political Science in 1985. Outside of work, Black enjoys the activity of fly fishing.
