Jina L. Clay is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Professional Member in the field of Engineering. Whitacre Engineering Company was established in 1920 in an effort to provide, “hollow clay tile fillers, steel, and other building materials that general contractors and engineers could use for structural floor slabs. Since being established, the company has established offices in Chicago, Detroit, Cleveland, and Rochester. Clay is currently employed as an estimator and rebar detailer at the Whitacre Engineering Company located in Canton, Ohio. The company provides services such as concrete reinforcing drawings and fabrication for clients local to their area of business. Amassing over 10 years of career experience at Whitacre Engineering, Clay’s specialties include estimating, civil engineering, bridge construction, steel detailing, and project management. To further her professional development, Clay is an affiliate of several organizations and has been recognized by both the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). She is also on the board of directors at the Summit County Agricultural Society. Throughout her education and training, Clay graduated from Stark State College of Technology with an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Civil Engineering Construction Management & Architecture with a 4.0 GPA in 2006. Soon after, in 2008, she earned her Bachelors of Science from Franklin University. When she’s not working, Clay loves spending time with her grandkids.
