Makeeta Samone House is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a Pinnacle Lifetime Member in recognition of her contributions to the Insurance field and as a Master Life Coach. Makeeta House works in the area of Workforce Management at Farmers Insurance, which specializes in insurance policy sales and works directly with directors, managers, and also supervisors. She brings 19 years of career experience, as well as expertise in management, to her role. “Farmers not only prides itself on helping you plan wisely for the unexpected, but also on helping restore order when it occurs, so you can keep moving along the road of your life’s plans,” the company’s website states. “Farmers is proud to serve more than 10 million households with more than 19 million individual policies across all 50 states through the efforts of over 48,000 exclusive and independent agents and nearly 21,000 employees.” Makeeta House earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Relations and Management from MidAmerica Nazarene University. She is certified as a Master Life Coach and Christian Coaching. She plans to complete her Business coaching certification at the end of 2017. She has a coaching business entitled Abilities Influence Measure, to provide life coaching and motivational speaking to personal or business clients. Makeeta has also a wellness product line called Wishful Wellness Aromatherapy launching in 2017. Later in 2018 she would like to go into the area of non-profit for unfortunate clients to assist rebuilding their dreams through speaking engagements, webinars, seminars, and trainings. Makeeta has a book entitled Survival Through Forgiveness coming out with her launch as well and there is more to come in her future, she loves to engage with other co-partners she has now become a part of the Black CEO of Kansas City to network in all areas of coaching. To further her professional development, House is a member of the National Association of Professional Women. When not working, she volunteers her time to her local church, as well as to shelters designed to help and support women who are victims of abuse. Additionally, House enjoys reading, singing, art, painting, exercise and spending time with her children, specifically by helping them participate in creative activities. She will also star in a original play called A Cry for Help premiering in January 2018, which centers on domestic violence. She is a songwriter and a singer in the play. The play will be presented to benefit a nonprofit organization. Makeeta House dedicates this recognition to her husband, Stephen House, and thanks him for all of his support. She also dedicates this recognition to her father-in-law, Myles House, as well as to the living memory of her mother, Linda Gaines.
