Lisa is the Practice Administrator at Dermatology and Oculoplastic Consultants.Amassing over three decades of experience in the medical field, Lisa has been involved in the major office billing, clean up and set up policy and procedures to get the office back on track over the past 30 years. Lisa has been in this position for the past year. With her extensive knowledge in medical billing and coding as well as accounting and Human Resources, she flourishes as Practice Administrator. The staff at Docs has two medical doctors, two physician assistants, a nurse practitioner and a medical aesthetician; along with a very qualified staff of 18 staff members including an in- house certified lab tech. The staff has become a positive team and has a united front. Together as a team the office was able to accomplish so much. The experienced and knowledgeable staff at Dermatology and Oculoplastic Consultants have one goal in mind: to provide patients with first class service and superior care within a professional and compassionate setting.” In the past year with the help of her team, they were able to increase revenue 20% and decrease the aging claims of 120 days old from 21.37% in 2014 to 2.3% within the year. This was a huge accomplishment for the team at Docs. The training program was implemented to train the whole staff as a group, not just in their area of the office. The focus was to create cross training and a better united front. Lisa was able to set up and create new policies and procedures as well as updated training plans for our staff with the doctors. She incorporated positive thoughts and energy daily with the staff. Moreover, Lisa likes to focus on constructive team lead meetings as well as informative staff meeting each week. With this being said, she creates a theme each month; with the theme she uses weekly quotes and training around the theme. One of her areas of focus when she started with Docs, Lisa sets up strategic planning to improve the time management of the team and set up SMART goals for herself and the staff.
