Dr. Rebecca Hierholzer MD, MBA, FACEP

Dr. Rebecca Hierholzer M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.E.P. is recognized by Continental Who’s Who as a 2016 Woman of the Year as a result of her role as the Chief Executive Officer of COVERSA (Collection of Victim Evidence Regarding Sexual Assault). COVERSA’s mission is to improve the Collection of Forensic Evidence, Provide Acute Interventional Services; Collaborate with Legal and Judicial Representatives and Provide Education to the Community Regarding Sexual Assault Issues and their vision is to be the Premier Provider of Forensic Nursing Services in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Furthermore, Dr. Hierholzer is Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. She has been awarded with the Who’s Who Diamond Award, and was also the recipient of the Emergency Physician of the Year (2010) by the Missouri Emergency Nurses Association. Dr. Hierholzer earned both her B.A. and M.D. in Medicine from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, and also holds a Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare from the American Intercontinental University. She is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a Clinical Associate Professor of Emergency Medicine through the University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Medicine.
