Sarah Tar is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Professional Instruction in ice skating. She is the Owner and Professional Ice Skating Instructor of South Florida Ice Skating Star, LLC. Providing skating lessons for local toddlers, children and adults at Pines Ice Arena in Pembroke Pines, Florida, Sarah is a USFSA Gold Medalist in Moves in the Field and Freestyle, and CER trained with the Professional Skating Association, with over 15 years of experience. By
training her students for test sessions, shows and competitions, Sarah utilizes her expertise in basic skills, freestyle, choreography and off-ice training on a daily basis. Priding her success on her passion for teaching, Sarah’s advice to those entering the industry is to “put your mind to it.” Her goal is to develop skaters of all ages and to assist them in achieving their ice skating dreams. In addition to owning her business and instructing, Sarah is an attorney working for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office Child Support Program. Moreover, Sarah maintains affiliations with the United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA), the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW), the Professional Skating Association (PSA) and the Pines Figure Skating Club; as well as the Florida and D.C. Bar Associations. A graduate of Duquesne University, Sarah earned her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Sociology.
