Carl Rod, M.S., RRT, RCP, is recognized by Continental Who’s Who among Pinnacle Professionals in the field of Higher Education. His professional title is Respiratory Therapist, Teacher and Program Director at Platt College. Since its inception in 1979, Platt College has served thousands of Oklahoma natives with the tools, education and training for lifetimes of success
within their chosen areas of concentration. Specializing in departmental management, instruction and respiratory therapy, Carl has been in the industry for over forty years. He went into the field of respiratory therapy because he has been asthmatic his entire life and wanted to help others like himself. Throughout the course of his career, Carl states he has “seen vast improvement in the field such as ventilators.” Attributing success to his “continuing curiosity,” Carl is board certified by the National Board for Respiratory Care. In addition to his teaching role, he works as a ham radio operator and an active blogger. A member of AARC, Carl attained his Master’s degree in Human Service Administration from Southern New Hampshire University following receipt of his Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Polytechnic University.
